Frankfurt’s office market recorded an office space take-up of around 458,000 sqm in 2021, corresponding to a 36% increase in take-up year-on-year. In a half-year comparison, the second half of 2021 showed significantly higher take-up of 273,000 sqm than the first half (185,000 sqm).

At the end of the final quarter of 2021, the average monthly rent in Frankfurt’s office market was €21.00/sqm. This has fallen since the end of 2020 (€22.00/sqm).
